Walking With Buddy Bear
Kickoff the "Be Active Clinton County, America on the Move," program in collaboration with Bailey Avenue and our very own Buddy Bear! Thing one and Thing two will be helping out Buddy Bear, who is desperate to lose some pounds after his long winter of hibernation,
along with the students and faculty in his effort to get in shape.
This get-in-shape, stay-in-shape 6-week program is a positive effort to teach the future generation healthy eating habits and general ways to keep healthy through physical activity and healthy snack choices. The "Buddy Bear Trail," the trail will be named after Buddy Bear, will be marked off so that families can walk it outside of school time.
Every staff member and student have been enrolled in the "Be Active Clinton County, America on the Move" Program, and have been given their own pedometer.
This event begins in the school gym. Students will receive walking slips to keep track of the day that they walk. After five days of walking they bring in a slip so teachers can chart their progress and keep track.
