Momot Students Participate in National Community Service Program for "Make A Difference Day"

Mentor logoFourth and fifth graders from Momot Elementary School involved in the Clinton County Mentoring Program and the New York State Learn and Serve America component, will participate in community service projects.

Learn and Serve America (LSA) , a federal funded program administered by the Bureau of College, School and Community Collaboration, New York State Education Department, is designed to provide opportunities for students to engage in community service which is integrated into classroom learning.

Clinton County Mentoring Program is funded in part through LSA, United Way, and is a component of community service offered at Champlain Valley Family Center.
