McKelvey Foundation Entrepreneurial Scholarship Award

Andy McKelvey is the former CEO of Monster.com and lifelong entrepreneur. This scholarship was created in 2004 to support the vision of Andy McKelvey and the foundation. The McKelvey Foundation has a vision of building a large network of young business owners from across the country and to connect them with each other for the purpose of sharing their experiences in running their own businesses.

Award Amount: $40,000 ($10,000 each year for four years)

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be graduating high school in the Spring of 2009
Must be planning to attend a college within the 50 states
Must own and operate a genuine business, non-profits are eligible
Must have at least one paid employee
Not based on academic achievement or financial need.
