An Integrated ELA/MST Unit

Overview:This is an integrated learning unit that will provide a step by step approach to integrating technology into ELA, social studies, math and science. Students will use the internet for research. A guided web page will be used to locate information about the day they were born. They will learn to do internet searches, as well as, record gather and analyze information in the form of text, pictures,sounds, movies and other multimedia. Students will then follow a structured graphic organizer to create a power pint presentation. They will use digital cameras and scanners to further enhance the presentation. Students will then share their completed presentation to a real audience consisting of parents, grandparents and peers.
