Overview:A two segment approach: Immersion and Writing
Students will interpret and react to various forms of poetry (multicultural) and prize winning poets. They will also be involved in journal writing, creating personal poetry, and will share their work with an audience. Multiple intelligences will be addressed and the unit will be used as an integrated method for preparing for the fourth grade ELA test.
