PROMOTING ORAL HEALTH:  INTERVENTIONS FOR PREVENTING DENTAL CAVITIES

Overview:  Thus unit will build upon existing programs to provide the education component for the school-based dental health program.  It will include lessons which emphasize preventive care and the importance of proper nutrition.  The goal is to strengthen awareness and appreciation for oral health through year-long activities that reinforce the objectives to all members of the school community.
