Overview:The purpose of this unit, Outstanding Olympics, is to provide the sixth grade students with a team experience. It focuses on activities that require working together and sharing their own expertise, while working bon challenging problem-solving tasks. Teams move, in a rotating fashion from station to station, under the supervision of station leaders who monitor their work. Collaboration is stressed; the goal is teamwork.
