Let’s Walk ‘Four Blocks’ Through The Rain Forest

Overview: The purpose of this unit is to provide third graders with a multimethod and multilevel instruction about the major ideas and concepts related to the rain forest. The unit is designed with a balanced ELS focus that uses fiction and nonfiction literature. The Four Blocks model provides a framework for organizing the instructional strategies and lesson plans that make up the unit.
