Integrating the Recorder into the Third Grade Curriculum

Overview: The purpose of this unit is to integrate the recorder into the third grade

Curriculum. The recorder will be used to meet the NYS Learning Standards by providing an additional performance instrument, an additional method to introduce and reinforce note reading , and a highly motivational tool for the general music classroom.
